Container Gardening & Micro Greens Workshop:

Learn how to grow nutritious food indoors and in all seasons!  We will explore how to grow microgreens and otehr vegetables using low cost and recyclable materials.  You will receive a starter kit that will allow you to begin growing as soon as you get home!  Lettuce help you on your journey to growing fresh food!

Being in the kitchen is an exciting, hands-on way to learn about food. Kids will learn basic cooking skills and make delicious foods such as pancakes, burritos, dips, pasta sauce, and more! Preference is given to Food Bank clients.

Hans Kai Health School

In partnership with Regina Community Clinic
Tuesdays September 10, 17, 24 & October 1, 2019 1:30 to 3:30

Hans Kai is founded on the idea that people who spend time together monitoring their health will live longer and healthier lives. Participant-led groups meet monthly to encourage members to choose healthy lifestyle choices. Groups participate in 4 key activities – preparing healthy food/snack, engaging in physical activity, checking specific health indicators, and socializing and supporting each other.

Classes will be facilitated by Heather Dzioba, M.Sc. (Nutr.), R.D. Jo Brown, B.S.W., M.S.W of the Regina Community Clinic.

Personal Financial Management Workshops

Available any time at www.reginafoodbank.ca/courses.  Create your account and complete our online course that explores budgeting, banking, credit & debt, frauds & scams and consumerism.  The course can be completed at your own pace and is available any time!
