Making Community Connections Events at the Regina Food Bank bring together our community partners to connect with our clients and community members at scheduled dates once per month. The Four-Season Urban Agriculture Project includes an indoor agriculture centre, school and community outreach project, and indoor gardening workshops. Find out more about the project here.
Personal Financial Management Workshops
Free two-day workshops that focus on budgeting, banking, using credit, managing debt, and smart consumerism. Offered at the Regina Food Bank for clients and community members. Also available for exclusive workshops held for current and future partner organizations in Regina.
Online Financial Management Workshop
A 1 hour online workshop that provides an introduction to the topics covered in in in-person workshop. Available any time for you to complete at your convenience. Please note that registration is required and may take up to 2 business days for your registration to be approved.
Healthy Cooking Classes
Join us once per week for 7 weeks to learn new recipes, skills, and techniques to promote health eating in our free workshops. Classes are offered throughout the year for those 18+. Preference given to food bank clients who have not participated in a cooking class during the past 2 years.
Kitchen parties are one-day community kitchen style workshops. Working around a theme or topic, participants make enough to enjoy lunch together today and take food home for their families. One day workshops are open to anyone aged 18+ even if you have taken classes with us before! There is no cost to attend, and preference is given to food bank clients.
