25,000 people in Regina will go hungry today.
Half of them are children.

Food bank usage has increased by 76% in the past 5 years – the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history. Sadly, because of the Food Bank’s current capacity, only 40% of families can actually access our services.

About

THE IMPACT OF HUNGER:

  • Higher rates of depression and anxiety

  • Higher rates of physical illness

  • Lower economic development

  • Lower graduation rates

  • Stunted development in children

It takes more than food to feel full

it involves the ability to choose what you put on your table, whether that choice is dietetic, cultural, or otherwise.

We envision a world where everyone can choose.

To feed our future, we’re embarking on a  $5 million campaign  so we can increase access to food bank services to those who need it. We need your help.

Located at 1881 Broad St. in the heart of downtown Regina,

the Community Food Hub is a bold national first. It will look and feel like a grocery store, but the food will still be free. So, for the first time in 40 years, our clients can choose the food that their family needs.

THE COMMUNITY FOOD HUB

  • A grocery store experience providing greater dignity for clients

  • More Saskatchewan grown and produced food

  • Nutritional & financial literacy programming

  • Diverse cultural food choices

  • A vibrant and dynamic gathering place for community
