Growing Local, Feeding Local
At the Regina Food Bank, we are proud to partner with local producers through our Farm2FoodBank Program. This innovative initiative connects the rich agricultural resources of Saskatchewan with the pressing needs of our community, ensuring that high-quality, nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

Saskatchewan is renowned for its top-tier agricultural products, from grains to livestock. Yet, despite this abundance, many families face food insecurity. Currently, 1 in 8 households in Saskatchewan struggle with food access. At the Regina Food Bank, we’ve seen a 40% increase in demand since 2019, serving over 16,000 people each month. Farm2FoodBank aims to address this challenge by harnessing the generosity of local farmers, processors, and businesses.

Our Partners
Close to 60% of all of the food produced in Canada is wasted and about 30% of that could be rescued to distribute to people in need.
