INTRODUCING THE BMO Asahtowikamik COMMUNITY Food Hub

FINANCIAL AND NUTRITIONAL LITERACY PROGRAMS
For school aged children. In partnership with Co-operators and Agriculture in the Classroom, Regina Foodbank has launched new programs that are expected to reach 1,300 students during the first year. These programs are aimed at educating children on food budgeting and making healthier eating choices. Education will include understanding food labels, the importance of balanced nutrition and meal planning on budget.
Hosting these sessions at the Food Hub allows students to learn in a real-world setting.
