Regina Food Bank announces the School Food Program to improve food security and attendance in eight Regina schools. The new program represents a significant investment in combatting childhood food insecurity, feeding over 2,000 children and youth year-round, enabled through a community partnership model. AGT Foods has committed to a three-year partnership, providing $75,000 in food, and Knight Automotive Group has committed $60,000 through a one-year partnership.
Regina Trades & Skills Centre’s Commercial & Industrial Roofing class is providing a major roof repair to one of Regina Food Bank’s buildings. This is a $60,000 cost savings for Regina Food Bank, which translates to 180,0000 meals!

Thanks to this donation from SaskMilk and Saputo, we’ve been able to fill our food hampers with 25,000 L of 2% milk, feeding our neighbours locally sourced, nutritious food choices.
