PERSONAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS

SUMMER WORKSHOP SERIES:

The summer workshop series is a series of four individual 2 hour workshops. Each workshop is designed to explore a different financial management topic. Sign up for as many of the topics as you like. There is no cost to attend these programs and all of the materials and items needed for a program are provided.

Budgeting: Tuesday July 12th, 2016 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Banking: Tuesday July 26th, 2016 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Credit & Debt: Tuesday August 9th, 2016 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Consumerism & Smart Shopping: Tuesday August 23rd, 2016 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

TWO DAY WORKSHOP:

This workshop is custom designed to help those with fixed or low incomes make the best financial decisions with limited household incomes.  Over the course of the workshop participants will learn about:  Budgeting, Banking Options, Managing Credit, Debt Repayment and Effects of Consumerism.  There is no cost to attend these programs and all of the materials and items needed for a program are provided.

ONLINE WORKSHOP:

Want to learn more about Personal Financial Management but can’t attend a class in person?  You can complete the course on your own, anywhere you have Internet access.  The online course takes from three to six hours to complete and covers the same topics as the workshops at the food bank!  Start the online course by registering now.

 

 

NUTRITIONAL COOKING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Learn about healthy food choices, develop skills to prepare food for yourself and your family, and learn budgeting skills when purchasing food!  The Nutritional Cooking Leadership Program has 10 classes that include classroom learning activities, a grocery store tour, preparing meals together, preparing a large meal to feed the community, and your level 1 food safety course.

COST

There is no cost to attend these programs and most of the materials and items needed for a program are provided.
